Templates, meeting notes and import from Notion or Word
Start pages from Zolu's templates or your own, take meeting notes that title themselves, and bring your pages from Notion, Markdown or Word.
On this page
When you create a page, the New page window lets you start from an Empty page, a template or an import.
Zolu's templates
The templates come in your language and are grouped by Popular, All, Work & teams, Meetings, Clients & coaching, Students and Personal & habits. Some examples: Meeting notes, SOP, Employee onboarding, Client brief, Project kickoff, Weekly plan, Post-mortem, Wiki home, Class notes, Habit tracker and Daily journal.
You'll also find them all in + New → Note or Doc.
Meeting notes
Choose Meeting notes and Zolu asks for:
Date of the meeting.
People from your workspace who attend.
Other attendees: just names, like "Laura (client)". They don't get an account, a notice or a contact.
Tap Create page and the page titles itself, for example "Meeting · Oct 8, 2026". Write the to-dos as checkboxes and, when you're done, use Extract tasks to turn them into tasks.
Using a template never creates tasks on its own. Checkboxes stay checkboxes until you turn them into tasks.
Save your own template
Open a page you'd like to reuse and go to its … menu → Save as template.
Give it a Name and a short description.
Tap Save template.
Anyone in the workspace (except guests) can start a page from it in Your workspace's templates. Images are copied into the template. Checkboxes linked to tasks become normal checkboxes, and comments and history aren't copied. Each workspace can keep up to 50 templates.
Import from Notion, Markdown or Word
In New page, choose Import from Notion or Markdown or Word.
Upload: drop or choose your files.
Notion: in Notion go to Settings → Export all workspace content → Markdown & CSV, include subpages, and upload the ZIP.
Markdown (.md) or Word (.docx) files.
Review: see the pages, images and files that will come, and choose the place under Put it in.
Import: tap Import N pages and then Open the pages.
Pages keep the same structure they had in Notion, and links between them point to the new pages. Notion databases become simple tables with their rows. Nothing is imported until you confirm.
Good to know about importing
Up to 1,000 pages per import, and tables up to 500 rows.
ZIP up to 200 MB on a computer and 50 MB on a phone. Each file up to 25 MB.
Your files are read first on your device. Photos are cleaned of hidden data like location before uploading.
Links marked as dangerous are turned off.
If the import gets interrupted, upload the same file again: it picks up where it left off without duplicating pages.
