Create pages in the Wiki, a team or a project
Where your Docs pages live (Wiki, teams and projects), how to organize them in a tree and who can see each one, including private pages.
On this page
Docs are pages for everything your team needs to write down: processes, meeting notes, client briefs, a company wiki. They live next to your projects and tasks.
Where pages live
Open Work → Docs. You'll see your Recent pages, your Favorites and your pages.
Pages live in:
Wiki: the pages for the whole workspace.
Teams: one space per team you're in.
Each project also has a Docs tab with its own pages: briefs, notes and decisions for that project.
Create a page
Tap New page on the Docs home, or + New → Note or Doc at the top.
Pick an Empty page, a template or an import. See Templates, meeting notes and import from Notion or Word.
Write the title. Everything saves on its own.
To move a page inside another, use Move to… in its … menu.
Make it yours
Tap the square next to the title to choose an Icon and color, or an emoji.
Add cover puts an image at the top (from the Zolu gallery, Unsplash or your own).
Full width (in the page's … menu) uses the whole screen.
Who can see each page
In the … menu → Who can see it:
Option | Who sees it |
|---|---|
Private | Only you and the people you share it with. |
Space | Everyone in this wiki, team or project. |
Whole workspace | Everyone in the workspace can read it. |
A private page is really private: not even the workspace owner can see it unless you share it. Pages inside a private page are private too.
Who can edit depends on the space: in the Wiki, members can edit and owners and admins manage everything; in a team, its people; in a project, the people who can edit the project. Guests only see pages in their project and can comment on them.
The page menu
The … menu also lets you Rename, Duplicate, Move to…, Copy link, Add to favorites, Lock (read only) and Move to Trash. A page in the Trash goes with the pages inside it, and you can restore it for 30 days from Settings → Trash.
Find any page
Press Cmd/Ctrl + K and type. Zolu searches page titles and the text inside, in English and Spanish, with or without accents, and only shows pages you can see.
