Task details: assignees, dates, subtasks and comments
Everything inside a task — assignees, due date and time, priority, labels, subtasks, attachments, comments with @mentions, repeating tasks and blockers.
On this page
Tap a task on the board and its details open in a side panel. Each task has its own number and link (for example RDY-12), so you can share it. Expand to full page (⤢) opens it on its own page.
Every change saves on its own. You'll see "Saving…" and then "Saved".
The basics
Status: the column the task is in.
Assignees: one or more people of the project.
Due date: pick a day with Today, Tomorrow, Next Monday, In a week or the calendar. Use Add time for an exact time (like 3:30 pm). With a time, the task turns red as soon as that time passes.
Priority: High, Medium or Low.
Labels: tap Add label to pick one or create a new one.
Description: format with bold, headings, lists, checkboxes, quotes, code and links. Markdown shortcuts work too (
#,-,[ ]).
To finish it, tap Mark as done. It moves to the project's Done column.
Subtasks and attachments
Subtasks: write in Add a subtask and press Enter. The card on the board shows how many are done.
Attachments: tap Attach file. Up to 25 MB each: images, PDF, Office, TXT, CSV or ZIP. Photos are saved as lighter WebP files unless you check Keep original image quality.
Comments and @mentions
Write in Comments and type @ to mention someone. They get a notification in their Inbox (and by email, if they have it turned on). Ctrl/⌘ + Enter sends.
Reply starts a thread under a comment.
You can edit and delete your own comments. Owners and admins can delete any comment.
Activity at the bottom shows who changed what and when.
Repeat a task
Use Repeat for tasks that come back: Every day, Every week (pick the days), Every month or Custom… ("every 2 weeks").
When you complete it, Zolu creates the next one on its own, with the same assignees, labels and subtasks (unchecked). If you finish late, the next one never starts already overdue. Only main tasks can repeat, not subtasks.
Blocked by another task
Under Dependencies, tap Add blocker and search for the task this one is waiting on (from the same project). While that task is open, a notice at the top says what's blocking it, and the card shows a lock.
It's a reminder, not a wall: you can still move or complete the task.
Who can change what
People who can edit the project can change everything.
People who can only view and comment (including guests) can comment, and guests can complete the tasks assigned to them.
