Zolu's Calendar puts your day in one place: your events, habits, time blocks and the tasks with a due date that are assigned to you. You can see all of that in Google Calendar, and bring your Google Calendar into Zolu. It also works with Apple Calendar and Outlook.

See Zolu in Google Calendar

This uses a secret subscribe link. Google reads it and keeps it up to date on its own. It's read-only: you edit things in Zolu.

  1. In Zolu, open Settings → Calendar (or Calendar settings from the Calendar).

  2. Under See Zolu in another calendar, pick what to share in Calendar: Everything of mine in Zolu, Personal, Habits, your workspace or one project.

  3. Tap Create link. It's created and copied in one tap (use Copy to copy it again).

  4. On a computer, open Google Calendar → Other calendars (+) → From URL.

  5. Paste the link and tap Add calendar.

You can also tap Open in Google to start from Zolu. Using Notion Calendar? It shows your Google calendars, so turn on the Zolu one there.

Google can take several hours (sometimes up to a day) to refresh a subscribed calendar. Apple and Outlook are usually faster. If you need one event there right now, open it in Zolu and use “Add to my calendar” → “Google Calendar”.

Bring your Google Calendar into Zolu

  1. Open Google Calendar on a computer → Settings.

  2. Pick your calendar → Integrate calendar → Secret address in iCal format. Copy it.

  3. In Zolu, open Settings → Calendar. Under Bring other calendars into Zolu, paste it in Add by link (.ics or webcal).

  4. Give it a name and a color if you want, and tap Add.

Your Google events now show up in Zolu's Calendar. Zolu reads them again about every hour. Tap Refresh now if you need them sooner. Connecting your Google or Outlook account directly is coming soon.

  • Your subscribe link is secret: anyone who has it can see those events.

  • Change link creates a new one and the old one stops working right away.

  • Turn off stops that link for good. You can create a new one afterwards.

  • The link never includes other people's busy times, calendars you brought in from outside, or contact details (a follow-up shows only a first name and initial).

Good to know

  • Personal and Habits are private: only you see them, not even the workspace owner.

  • In the Calendar, drag a task from To plan into your day to block time for it. The task's due date doesn't change.

  • Show as Busy to my team is off by default. If you turn it on, teammates see only the times you're busy in Personal and Habits, never the titles.

  • You can add up to 10 outside calendars in each workspace.
